Probably not a problem in modern solid-state rigs (and an electronic
keyer would be used in any case). However, that might not be a good
idea for a hand key in some cases :^)
I was thinking the same approach could be used for a single-paddle
design by placing the moving part in the center of the loop.

positive potential. Probably not an issue, but I'd feel a bit
better if the
finger pieces were ground. That would require the center piece to
become 2
pieces.
