Werner,

The bandwidth displayed is the audio bandwidth. A double sideband (AM) signal with an RF or IF bandwidth of 6 kHz will contain only 3 kHz of audio bandwidth. That is an inherent characteristic of the modulation method, not any limitation imposed by the K3.

To obtain 6 kHz audio bandwidth for an AM signal requires a 12 kHz IF filter - the FM filter will do that, but the firmware to support it has not been released yet - I believe it is coming soon.

OTOH, an SSB signal can contain an audio bandwidth equal to the IF bandwidth.

Next question: when I am in AM mode, the bandwidth shows 3.00 with FL2 enabled. With LSB it shows 6.00. btw, it sound great!
