hi, tonight I wanted to operate crossband split: listen on 12 MHz and transmit on 14 Mhz.
When I tried this, I saw that my output was less than half of the output when the transmitter is switched to simplex. Sometimes I also get "end" display (out of band) although the transmitter was set to 14 Mhz. I could not yet find out what made this happen, when I recalled the pair of frequencies from memory, it resolved resolved. Looks like a firmware bug. 73! de Werner OE9FWV -- Don't be hesitant.
