Good Evening,
Spring is here on the mountain. Trilliums are blooming on the property and
the daffodils have started to open en masse. I actually let the fire go out
last night and have not relit it. I may just lay the fire so when I need it I
only need to strike a match to it.
Twenty meters was open and fairly quiet. Forty meters was open but there
was QSB on most stations plus a lot of QRN. Someone is having a big storm
somewhere. My phone lines are still not able handle a call. One line is good
enough to allow me to call but I get kicked offline in a matter of seconds.
The other is not able to dial out at all. So this report will not be posted
until they are repaired or I drive into town with my laptop.

The telephone system seems to be working again. I have not been kicked
offline in thirty minutes! For a while my system was redialing at the rate of
twice a minute. The day is sunny and mild. The flowers are exploding around
me. I have about one hundred daffodils open and they are just getting started.
At one point we had 1500 bulbs in the ground but one thing and another has
depleted their ranks. It still will be very yellow. I brought in six of them
to put next to Pat.
If there are any corrections or additions for the above lists please send
them to me. I found my hand was tired from all the CW from the day before.
But we had fun in QRPTTF and may have done fairly well in comparision to some
of the reports I've read. We shall see.
Until next week stay well,
73,
Kevin. KD5ONS (Net Control Operator 5th Class)
