I wonder if all changes for SWL shouldn't be reserved only for the second receiver. I want to be sure that a world class transceiver designed for HAM operation does not get screwed up by creeping specs from changes being made to change it into something else. Look up the history of the German Messerschmit airplane in WW II for an example of what can happen. The world's best airplane got changed into something that could hardly fly.
