If the problem is not a tight microphone junction
(mine wasn't), just remove the 3D up front to make
your pin alignment easier, you can put it back in
after the front panel is mated.

George,

It is highly probably that your problem is the
microphone connector.  It's a 
tight fit, and may have to be reamed a bit.  Try
wiggling the panel around 
that area and see if that isn't where it is binding
up.  Mine was tight, but 
didn't have to do any reaming of the hole.  It just
took a little localized 
jockeying to get it to slip over the connector.
