Denis, I can only think of two likely reasons that your headphones work but your speaker doesn't.:
1) Remove the top panel on your K2 and look for a connector on the front right side of the radio (close to the on/off switch). It is labeled "SPKR" and "P5". Make sure the connector is connected and pushed all the way in. 2) Or it could be that your headphone jack is defect. You can test this with an ohm meter.
