Be careful in committing to N4PY's software. Last I knew it was still 16 bit code and would not run with some software and hardwire drivers in Windows 2000/XP/Vista. Specifically, all 16 bit software is not compatible with virtual ports created by the Eltima software library (e.g., microHAM Router) and the most recent USB drivers from several vendors. I do not know of any way to determine in advance if your particular system will support 16-bit (Windows 3.1) software. Most authors converted to 32 bit programming models when Windows 95 was released and Microsoft is reported to be eliminating 16 bit support completely in the 64 bit versions of Vista/XP. 73, ...
