Two questions for the group because I cannot find the answers in the manual (I am new to the K3):
1. When you upgrade to any newer firmware version, does it override any of your calibrations or memory presets? 2. I am a net control station on 40 meters and have strong local stations that boom in. There does not seem to be any AGC action to level the audio volume like my TR7's have. Have I missed a setting somewhere? Will the CONFIG:SLP setting help level this out and if so, any suggestions on what value to set this parameter to? Thanks.
