If you worked K3MAD on 40 meters, than it was a K3 on the other end. Wow this rig is great! Its biggest problem is that there were some weak stations out there that we could copy no problem, but they couldn't hear us, sort of reverse alligator syndrome!
The CW decoder worked OK, fortunately, I had a good CW op with me through the night so we didn't need it, but my 10wpm copy speed just doesn't cut it on FD, so the decoder was helpful when I was on my own.
