I would just like to add that in certain circumstances with signals buried in the noise this little bit of ringing can help the signal out of the muck. I find the IIR filters useful on 160m and I am glad the option is there. Choice is good ;-) 73 Brendan EI6IZ -- Don‘t complain. Nobody will understand. Or care.
