Don has it right. It doesn't matter how you set it up, as long as it is "logical" to you.
My long time partner in crime and contest buddy Steve says he wants "40" and "20" etc. That''s okay, but probably won't happen in the near future. But I have to tell you, that when I had a rig with that type of set-up (meaning band "buttons," such as the Kenwood TS940), I never actually looked at the label once I knew where they were. It was simply a physical location within a grid of buttons. I can still remember what was where but I'll be damned if I can tell what the buttons actually read (band vs freq in MHz).
