Hi All,

I similarly decided to get "brave" and try downloading a beta version. I was a bit nervous about it, particularly as I had brought the "wrong" USB/Serial adapter with me to where we are spending the summer. I wasn't sure it would work as well as the Belkin I had been using for downloads. Anyway, I took the leap, and somehow I got it to work just fine. I was never sure I had done everything correctly as far as setting up the separate folder, etc. But apparently I did it more or less correctly. The download went without a hitch, and the K3 accepted the update smoothly. I may be imagining this, but the audio output seems stronger with this latest update. The noise reduction is working very well too. I think I'm happy!

Subject: [Elecraft] Beta Software Download Problem

I finally decided to try to downloadfor the first time the beta software for my K3. So the problem begins.

When I copy and paste the URL for the download into my browser I eventually get an error message "internet explorer can not display the webpage" just like I would expect if my internet connection was down.

So do I have something not turned on for this download maybe?

Thanks in advance for any help.
