No video here, but there are pictures in the both the K3 assembly and KRX3
Option manuals (available on the Elecraft web site). 

Because there are a LOT of pins in four sockets connecting the front panel
assembly to the rest of the K3, it takes some pressure, but nothing
spectacular.  You could grab the bottom edge of the front panel and pull
while holding the main K3 assembly, but there's a big danger that you'll
send one half skidding across the table or dropping one section. 

Either situation is a very bad thing! 

By using a screwdriver as shown in the manuals, the panel assembly slides
easily off under your complete control. 

Notice that the nominal force is not enough to cause any damage to the edge
of the circuit board used for leverage. 

Just be sure you have all the screws listed removed first so only the
connectors are holding the front panel assembly from quite literally falling
off.
