I am having a problem getting my K3 working on RTTY in the FSK mode using a serial-to-USB converter. Using MMTTY and not the Belkin (now unavailable) converter, it just won't function, even with extfsk.dll installed. However, it does work fine using COM1 and a direct serial connection to the K3.
When using COM8 and the serial-USB converter it does not work. Most of the MMTTY information is somewhat outdated, perhaps, given the bulk of information about it dates to 2005-2005. What are others using to get going on FSK using a serial-USB converter? Thanks!
