If you understood what I was saying, you were misrepresenting it. The bottom line, MODE should be copied with FREQUENCY, the other settings belong with either the second tap or left for "B set, <setting> B set" procedure. It's frequency and mode that matter when setting up for split. If the user has a KRX3 and is doing dual or duplex, the second receiver will likely have other settings (filter, RX Ant, AGC, etc.) that should not be changed and they will need "B set, <setting>, B set" in any case. > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Don Wilhelm > Sent: Sunday, September 14, 2008 1:37 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; 'Elecraft' > Subject: Re: [Elecraft] K3 VFO A/B > > > Joe, > > I did understand what you said - there have been proposals > all over the > field and there are varying opinions in every corner. > > If you believe that mode should be copied with the frequency, > an appeal > to Wayne with that specific request might get some attention, but I > certainly cannot predict the outcome.
