Hi Gang: Tnx for all the replies and hints on a Sunday morning. Comforting to know that many have had success with K3 to TopTen.
The apology: I have actually been using the W9XT decoder (not the TopTen), so the TopTen could go to VP5W to switch antennas there (CQ WW DX CW) as it has in the past. I fired up the TopTen here, and indeed it works, although not perfectly. Probably some programming errors on my part. Back to the workbench. I'll add pull-up resistors to the W9XT card, and all should be well. Tnx for all the great support! I'll have a 'K3: first impressions' post in a day or two.
