Sam,

You need to align the filters and BFOs so you receive only one sideband. With a wide filter setting, you cannot 'center' the filter without the passband lapping over into the other sideband. Set filters wider than 1.8 times your sidetone pitch so the low corner frequency is at 200 Hz and extend upward from there. Even though it is a CW filter, wide filters must be treated in a similar manner to SSB filters. Use Spectrogram to obtain the optimum settings.

If you are not familiar with setting the filters or using Spectrogram, review the article on my website www.w3fpr.com dealing with K2 Dial Calibration. Part 3 of that article deals with setting the filters. Once you have used Spectrogram for setting the filters, you will never go back to any other method - after doing it once, it is easy.

With my K2 (#2481) in CW mode, in the wide filter setting of F1 = 1.8,
I can copy the signal on both sides of zerobeat,
just like it was a direct conversion receiver.
When in F2, F3, and F4, I only receive the signals on the one sideband.

I have had cw qso's, so I don't believe I am setup on the wrong sideband.
What have I done wrong and what do I need to do to correct it?
TIA
