and it you set CONFIG: SPKRS = 2 then you can get audio effects on
your headphones too!

program one of the "PF" switches to access the "SPKR+PH" menu item
to turn the speaker on and off even with phones still plugged in. I
expected that when I did so I would have to hold PF1 and then rotate
the VFO A knob each time but that still seemed better than reaching
around the back of the radio.
So I programmed the PF1 as mentioned above and was happily surprised
to find that when I hold the PF1 switch it actually TOGGLES between
the two options (Spkrs on/off ) EXACTLY like you would want it to!
Very cool. Still loving (and discovering) this radio!
