Thanks to all that responded. +The manual said specifically not check DTR and RTS, so I did not. I tried to check them and it made no difference.
+The radio, the comport (6) and DXBase are all set to 4800 baud. I have not tried to use the 38,400 baud setting, but I have had more than one person say that the 4800 does work. If I was more knowledgeable, I could be a little more specific. (Maybe I should call the Geek Squad :-) Brendan, I believe that you sent the update for radio.ini but I didn't want to add another variable to a situation that I am at a loss how to fix.
