I've mistakenly hit V > M when I intended to recall a memory.

This is a mistake that I've made a lot and it's annoying. It's either because I read Hebrew, which of course goes from right to left, or because I'm a programmer and automatically think of putting the contents of the thing on the right into the thing on the left!

I've suggested to Wayne that Elecraft change the buttons to read STO and RCL or something. But in case they don't do this :-) here are some suggestions:

1) If you make this mistake, immediately hit M > V which will cancel it without doing anything.

2) Notice the AF REC label under V > M. REC means 'record'.

3) I did this: cut a small sticker -- I used a piece of a shiny red bumper sticker -- to fit over the face of the V > M key. This has completely solved the problem -- my brain only sees M > V so that's the one it chooses. But I have V > M available immediately if I need it.
