The name is case-sensitive. ?k3? is not the same as ?K3?.
You have the wrong URL. ftp.elecraft .com is not the same as www.elecraft.com Try navigating to ftp://ftp.elecraft.com/K3/firmware/beta, not ftp://www.elecraft.com/k3/firmware/beta.
