We had a very busy net this week with four new stations.
Main topics this week were:
The recent AF mod to the K3 and where to obtain RF chokes in the UK
(Farnell 1635-800 - not axial or Rapid Electronics 88-2882) We've not
measured the space to see if they fit, but are worth considering.
Isolation between the antenna ports on the K3 (between the two SO239
sockets when the KAT3 ATU is fitted).
S-meter calibration and S-meters in general.
External speakers (Richer Sounds have an offer on Eltax Concept mini
speakers at £9.99 a pair, which I am going to try for general shack
speakers).
The use of a pre-amp on 6m.
