I use Logic 8 with my K3. Choose the K2 setting, but it works fine. Reads radio data as you log and allows some rig control from the program too. I don't do anything fancy with it, but it seems fine for the basic operations. Logic 8 also has contest log forms for many contests. I used the SS form for the SSB contest recently.
