I need some expert advice from the experts on this list-serve. Here
is my situation:
Krx3 installed with following:
Config:
FL2 & 3 turned on (set to 6KHz, 2.8KHz, no offset, no gain)
KNB3 set to SUB NOR
KRX3 set to Ant=BNC (with external antenna connected)
SMTR OF for sub set
SMTR SC for sub set
SPKRS set to 1
SQ SUB set to 00
SUB AF set to NOR
VCO MD Sub calibrated
result: only white noise with sub RF and AF turned up.
Problem: L33 on the sub receiver board had one wire which was not
soldered. I soldered it to the obvious spot but no difference.
Troubleshooting clues:
When I place a finger near L33, the sub receiver begins to receive
signals. By touching an antenna wire to the pad where I soldered L33,
sub receiver works. But touching antenna to J92 does not bring in any
signals.
All the connectors with Sub In and Sub OUT boards seem to be making
good connections.
Question:
Could K11 on the KRX3 not be switching?
