After participating in the UK Elecraft net briefly this morning, and feeling that with the vfo 'on the nose' voices were a bit too low pitched, I thought I would check the vfo calibration against the Russian freq standard on 4996kHz.
Using spot as reference and listening for the beat tones, the K3 had drifted down by 10Hz. I set it when I first had the rig in June so it's had time to settle down a bit now. I think a 10Hz drift is pretty reasonable given that I don't have the higher stability reference option. It was quick and easy to adjust too.
