Note that at last check (about a week ago) there are drivers for the Vista 32 bit OS, but not Vista 64 bit. Anticipating more 64 bit applications appearing soon, more home computers are being pre-loaded with the 64 bit Vista OS. That just happened to me but, having a desktop system I'll add an RS232 board to it and avoid the whole USB/RS232 adapter issue.
