I found the problem.  After taking the cover off of the KRX3, I discovered
that J92 was broken.  There was no contact and of course no AUX signal.  It
appears that there was too much pressure between the KIO3 board and the
cable attached to J92.

I have contacted Elecraft support for next steps.
