Dick just announced his latest revision of K3 Utility (see below),
which will automatically perform all of the steps involved in K3
transmit gain calibration. I'm posting, too, just in case his subject
line didn't your attention.
This is a real labor-saver. It can safely be done at any time, even if
you think your K3's transmit gain has already been calibrated
correctly. All you need is an appropriate dummy load. See full
instructions below.
I'd like to thank Dick for his efforts on this. In fact, it's so cool
that we're now thinking about what else we can automate :)

The primary new capability is a Transmitter Gain Calibration "wizard",
