Thanks to all who replied. I understand now that the separate price for initial orders to account for the swapping of the standard 2.7-KHz part with the 2.8-KHz part.
When I ordered my K3/100 (s/n 1192), the 2.8-KHz filters were backordered. This predated the separate part numbers. The 2.8-KHz filter for the K3 main receiver was received here a while ago as the backorder cleared, but has not yet been installed. I just wanted to make sure that I can still swap in that part while I'm also installing the KRX3. KRX3 installation tomorrow (Friday)! 73, Jeff K8ND > -----Original Message----- > From: Jeff Maass [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: Thursday, January 01, 2009 10:37 PM > To: '[email protected]' > Subject: Differenced Between Filter "KFL3A-2.8_2.7sw" and > "KFL3A-2.8K"? > > > I was planning to take a block of hours tomorrow to add the > KRX3 to my K3/100. > > One of the things to do is to replace the 2.7-KHz filter with > the 8-pole 2.8-KHz filter in the main receiver.
