Tony, Yes, the 600 has a standby switch. When changing bands and freqs frequently it would be useful not to go through a bunch of manual switching. Also consider that some of us may not have the amp in close proximity to operate the standby switch easily. What's the harm in a request and who knows if it isn't already on the designers mind?
