Lee, It is entirely possible for a station with bad key clicks to produce energy for 2 kHz or more either side of the carrier, so the increased sensitivity of the K3 may allow you to hear those keyclicks as signals (they really are signals) even though you have the filters tightened up - it depends on the nature of the other station's keyclicks. OTOH, it may have something to do with the AGC as others have pointed out. You may want to alter the AGC PLS menu entry to see if it makes any difference.
