And - remember you can set the filter to engage at a different DSP width. Since the roofing filter has a fairly wide skirt you might want it to engage earlier. For example, I have my 500hz filter engage when the DSP is at 750hz. That way, I get the roofing advantage earlier but can still hear signals in the DSP passband.
