I am enjoying reading these posts! Very educational. Before I make a comment I try to inform myself about my topic. I read eHam reviews all the time and have written a few, posted as "N6UZD". Mostly about things I have bought or discovered that I thought were exceptionally or at least very good, or horribly bad!
You guys and gals have educated and entertained me, both the Elecraft Factory personnel and the customers and owner's of this fine product. The comment in response to a "feature request" by the factory that "We could have the radio wake you up and start the coffee" had me rolling with laughter. Talk about "Proactive".So much so that I decided to become an owner myself and placed my order for a K3/10 kit last week. I look forward to an educational experience each day through this forum. My hat is off to an AMERICAN COMPANY that puts out a first class product at a reasonable price! To top it off your customer service is so far above the norm that the other company's in the field will never catch up.
