May I suggest "C" and "N" The "C" is short hand in CW for yes (I think it comes from the Spanish word for yes) and of course "N" would be no.
How about this...it would send the SWR on Morse. HMMMMMM. Cool Could it be another menu item to turn it off or on? Lee - K0WA In our day and age it seems that Common Sense is in short supply. If you don't have any Common Sense - get some Common Sense and use it. If you can't find any Common Sense, ask for help from somebody who has some Common Sense. I sugggest "k" for a match, and "s" for swr alert. Failing that, and maybe easier since you have the switch tones in place, a high pitched beep for good match and low for no good. Being totally blind, this would sure increase my confidence operating the k3. What you all think? ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
