I key my Alpha 99 through the KEYOUT jack on the K3, and it works fine. The Alpha keying voltage and current levels are within the K3 keying parameters. Alpha does not recommend using ALC. Neither does Elecraft. (The only reason I want to do the ALC mod is to have a completely moded K3.) Roy Morris W4WFB
