You would have to switch back and forth manually, a dangerous solution. If you wish to use a receiving antenna you can purchase the transverter kit which supports a receive antenna. You could also build a box with a relay that switches to the Xmit antenna on ptt ground, much like the transverter board. You can also include a toggle to switch between the xmit or receive antenna regardless of the ptt state.
