I did not know the RIT/XIT knob can tune VFO A in large steps when both RIT and XIT are turned off. Go to CONFIG: VFO OFS and set to ON and go to CONFIG: CRS to vary the step size. This does not change the RIT and XIT functions when they are turned on. They operate the same as before. This is listed in the CONFIG MENU, and I had not noticed it. I am not quite sure how I will use this feature, but it is nice to have. Roy Morris W4WFB
