Well I decided to chase the K5D tonight (always better to start late). Lo and behold, my sub receiver does not copy anything. I've checked the menu and the KXV3 is set to NOR, speakers set to 1 or 2 makes no difference on internal speaker, RF set to max, SUB is turned on.
It transmits fine on B and in fact I've now worked K5D on 40 80 and 160. But it would be nice to hear the 2nd RX to find the last stn working them. What am I doing wrong? AFX on or off makes no difference either by the way.
