I also outfitted an expedition K3 (#2183). Mine was $2350 before shipping
with the following options:
K3/100 (stock 2.7k included)
KXV3 (not necessary unless you use separate RX ANT)
KAT3
KFL3A-500 (for CW/Digital if you expect QRM S9+25 or higher)
You would add a KDVR3 for $110 making the total $2460 plus shipping. Unless
your antenna will present signals over S9+25 to your K3 input, the 500 Hz
filter may not be necessary. Build the rig yourself so you'll be
comfortable making field repairs (it's fun too!)
