It has nothing to do with roofing filters. The roofing filters are critical to the K3's design; they keep large signals from getting into the I.F. strip in the first place. The AGC changes we're testing are intended to reduce the modulation effects that DSP AGC creates when multiple, closely spaced signals are present within the DSP's passband.
