Hello! I tried changing the CONFIG:SQ MAIN to SUB-POT as instructed on page 52 of the K3 Manual, but it did not seem to have any effect on USB and CW modes. It also did not seem to make the front panel RF knob work as a squelch in FM mode either - it only totally squelched the FM. Of course that may not work on my K3 anyway since I don't have the FM filter.
Does anybody know if there is a way to activate the squelch as described in the manual for USB and CW? It sure would be a big benefit to have this feature working before the summer Es season starts on a few months!
