Dave, There is one other change that is needed on your K2 to bring it up to date, and that is the K2 Temperature Compensated PLL Reference Mod (E850138). Thanks to Gary Hvizdak (of Rework Eliminator fame) for bringing that omission to my attention. That change was included with K2s above SN 3446, so it is not included with your K2 kit.
