The new 2.99 firmware and how it was needed to fix the "spiking" problem when running linear amplifiers that require less than 100 Watts drive (Acom, Expert, etc.). An apparent anomaly between the front and rear microphone sockets on the K3, where there appears to be unity gain from the rear socket and a gain of 10 from the front panel one. See the K3 circuit...
