Hello all: I'm new to the list and the world of Elecraft. Just picked up my K3 from UPS yesterday. Last night, I managed to unpack the kit, sort the hardware and inventory the other items. Looks like everything arrived. Assembly should begin tonight.
I have read the tips in the assembly manual. So, I have the static mat and wrist strap. But, I wondered if there would be a problem using magnetic tools. Is this something that should be avoided?
