Yeah - wouldn't that be more of a question about the front end of the TS-480 receiver than the bandwidth of the K1? Shoot, my friend and I were side by side during the flight of the bumblebees and my Yaesu FT840 was responding to his K2 even a few Mhz away. We basically couldn't work in the same band. But going the other way was a different story - the K2 couldn't hear me at all when the tables were turned.
