I think someone may have already done this a long time ago, but I have posted an Excel spreadsheet listing K3 options (including filters) for several different kinds of stations. The link is near the bottom of the K3 page on my web site: http://www.cds1.net/~n1al/ham/K3.htm
I included the minimum options I think necessary for each station type. You can certainly add other options, but I included only what I felt was minimally necessary. No doubt each person will have a different opinion of which options should be included - that's why I made it a spreadsheet so you can change it to your liking. When Elecraft's prices change, you only have to change the items in boldface in the "Price" column and everything else changes automatically. Just for fun, I included a K3 configured as close as possible to a stock Ten-Tec Omni VII.
