Not using SPLIT.
Using the 2TONE test signal on SSB yields ~100W, tune the KAT3 and 2TONE test again yields ~65W. Change to CW, tap the key, back to SSB and I get ~100W. All this into a dummy load & on any band. Other observations: If you tune the KAT3 then bypass the KAT3 it still only outputs ~65W. I also tried various settings of TUN PWR (10, 2, & NOR), all acted the same. Works OK on FW2.82, 'fails' on FW3.03 and FW3.04 73, Bill N2BC ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
