My vote goes to the K1EL Winkeyer USB. I've had both. My preference is with the Idiom Press keyers when using an external keyer. However, for all my K3 CW keying, the internal keyer suits me just fine. The K1EL and others that use the Winkeyer software, add a layer of complexity I'd rather do without; as they say, it's just something else to screw up! I humbly submit my 2 cents worth...
