Bill, I have been using EasyPal for several months without difficulty. The only settings I play with are bandwidth and passband center. I find that a a 2.4khz bandwidth centered on 1.55 khz improves the s/n ratio a little bit. For transmitting, use the EasyPal tune feature and someone listening to get the drive set. It's not very touchy. I also use VOX to key the transmitter; I had problems using RTS or DTR, probably because I also run the LP-PAN panadapter at the same time.
